Allegation(s)
The Registrant failed to prioritize patient care appropriately and was unable to meet her assigned patients' care requirements; failed to complete adequate health assessments of patients; failed to use critical thinking; was unable to set up and prime an IV and use the pump; did not respond urgently when asked to contact the doctor regarding stat ECG and bloodwork; and failed to communicate with colleagues using professional and medical terminology.
Terms
The Registrant agreed to: complete a course in critical thinking; and a Consolidated Clinical Course, including 250 hours of supervision by way of nursing contact hours; and participate in consultations with a BCCNP representative.
Condition on practice
The Registrant agreed to complete the above stated courses before applying for conversion to practising registration.
