Stockbrocks, Alison, RN

Consent agreement

Feb 11, 2019

On February 11, 2019 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Alison Stockbrocks of Surrey, to remediate practice issues related to her failure to escalate care and report to the physician a significant change in a patient's status, specifically, the patient's Glasgow Coma Scale score dropped from 14 to 8 and he demonstrated other significant and concerning neurological signs. In addition, the Registrant failed to reassess the patient in a timely manner and she failed to document interactions and interventions.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to a two week suspension, a reprimand, and consultation with a BCCNP Practice Support Consultant. The Registrant will develop a robust learning plan to implement in the practice environment to prevent the recurrence of these practice issues in the future.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
