On March 26, 2019 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Susan Dalmat of Vancouver, BC to remediate practice issues related to multiple incidences of medication mishandling, failure to document, improper Omnicell usage, and failure to adhere to the agency's controlled medication wastage policies from January to March 2016. The Registrant took a leave from nursing practice following the incidents.
The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to a two-week suspension and terms equivalent to a limits and condition on practice, including: entrance of a Learning Plan, Omnicell usage reports for 12- months; and a limit on her future practise setting.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
