Anderson, Lara, RN

Consent agreement

Mar 26, 2019

On March 26, 2019 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Lara Anderson of Maple Ridge, B.C., to remediate practice issues related to unsafe patient care and communication in the workplace. Specific concerns included concerns with respect to medication preparation and administration, lack of patient assessment and follow-up, and a pattern of problematic conduct with respect to accepting constructive feedback.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms and limits, including to remain non-practising until completion of specified educational courses, to complete a period of mentorship upon return to practice, to accept a reprimand for several specific instances of unsatisfactory medication administration, to complete sensitivity training and to develop and follow a detailed learning plan upon a return to practice.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
