Furber, Florence, LPN

Consent agreement

Mar 29, 2019

On March 29, 2019,  a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Florence Furber of Taylor, to remediate practice issues in the time period of September to November 2018, related to a series of medication errors, incomplete documentation, non-compliance with infection control policies, and inaccurate or incomplete nursing assessments.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a limit and condition on practice, including: a requirement to work with supervision for a period of 12 months (including random chart and practice audits with a supervisor), and a twelve-month limit precluding practice as the sole LPN or as the in-charge LPN, or nursing in a supervisory capacity of any kind.  She has agreed to additional terms including disclosure to employers, remedial education, and a regulatory practice consultation.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
