On May 8, 2019, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Traci Knight of Sooke, BC, in relation to conduct issues related to:
- Administration of unauthorized medication in breach of her Consent Agreement;
- Requesting and receiving a temporary password from the Pharmacist to the AcuDose machine in breach of her Consent Agreement;
- The Registrant's AcuDose code was used to access unauthorized pockets containing medications she was restricted from handling on multiple occasions in breach of her Consent Agreement; and
- The Registrant's AcuDose code was used to access unauthorized pockets, after which the count was incorrect by seven tablets of Hydromorphone.
In the result, the Registrant agreed to a three-month suspension, limits and conditions on practice, education and other terms to monitor practice.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
