On July 17, 2019, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and LPN Jonathan Vasco Ospina of Port Alberni, to remediate concerns related to breach of privacy in the form of unauthorized access to the medical records of an individual with whom he had no legitimate care relationship. He then shared Information from the records with a third party.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, Including: a 60 day suspension, a reprimand and remedial education on privacy and confidentiality.

The Inquiry Committee Is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
