Consent agreement

Jul 19, 2019

On July 19, 2019 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Judit Anita Turan of Port Moody, to remediate practice issues related to the failure to follow medication administration standards, the failure to document doctor's orders, the failure to provide a timely response to an asystole alarm on the cardiac monitor, the failure to follow the hospital's Infection Control Policy, the failure to follow repeated and direct instructions from her PCC, the failure to document and follow a physician's treatment plan, and the failure to document and communicate a patient's plan of care to oncoming staff.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice including the following: a 30-day suspension, completing online coursework, completing a Regulatory Practice Consultation, and limiting her area of practice to non-critical care settings for a period of not less than 24 months.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
