Consent agreement

Aug 1, 2019

On August 1, 2019 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Jennifer Mills of Queen Charlotte City, to remediate practice issues related to the improper access of the IT account of a co-worker who failed to log off at the end of her shift, which resulted in a breach of privacy and a failure to adhere to policy regarding privacy and confidentiality.

The former registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including: a 30 day suspension, a reprimand and remedial education on privacy & confidentiality and ethics.  The former registrant's registration with BCCNP has lapsed and she is not currently eligible to practice in BC.  The suspension would commence upon any future reinstatement of practising registration with BCCNP.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
