Consent agreement

Sep 15, 2019

On September 15, 2019, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Fe Lumpaz Documento of Penticton to remediate issues related to the erroneous report of nursing practice hours to the BCCNP. Had she accurately reported her practice hours to BCCNP over the last five years, it is unlikely that Ms. Documento would have successfully renewed her practicing registration for 2019 as she did not meet the minimum number of required practice hours over the past five years nor did she complete any education such that she satisfied the continuing competence requirements as set out in BCCNP's bylaws.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including acceptance of a reprimand and the cancellation of her registration with BCCNP. Should Ms. Documento wish to reinstate her registration she will have to reapply and demonstrate her fitness, competence, and good character to the satisfaction of the Registration Committee.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
