On November 1, 2019, BCCNP suspended the registration of Janeen Chase, Licensed Practical Nurse, pursuant to Section 35(1) of the Health Professions Act, during the course of an investigation into serious allegations regarding Ms. Chase's competence and fitness to practise as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Any limits, conditions, and/or suspensions ordered by the Inquiry Committee under section 35(1) of the Act are made to protect the public during an investigation or pending a hearing of the Discipline Committee. Measures taken under section 35(1) of the Act pertain to matters which are and remain unproven unless admitted by a registrant or determined by the Discipline Committee.
