On November 29, 2019 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and RN Andree Lineker of Nanaimo, to remediate practice issues related to breach of privacy in the form of unauthorized access to the medical records of herself and numerous individuals with whom she had no legitimate care relationship. The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including a 30 day suspension, remedial education on ethics and privacy & confidentiality and a meeting with a Regulatory Practice Consultant.
The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
