Doverspike, Ryan, RN

Consent agreement

Mar 17, 2020

On March 17, 2020 a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Ryan Doverspike of Prince George, B.C., to remediate practice issues related to administration of medication (medication error, unsafe administration, failure to document) and a failure to apply the principles of client-centered care/trauma informed  practice to a vulnerable patient.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to terms equivalent to a condition on practice, including: a public reprimand, completing coursework  including a review of MHSU Trauma Informed Practice Guide; a session with the BCCNP Practice Consultant and the development of a self reflection tool to examine the conduct issues that gave rise to this Agreement.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
