​On June 11, 2020, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved· a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Rupinder Dhaliwal of Richmond, BC, to remediate practice issues related to her failure to mobilize patients per care planning, failure to complete and document patient assessments accurately, or at all, failure to follow the principles of medication administration and documentation, failure to treat patients and families with dignity and respect, failure to make patients the primary focus of care by spending lengthy periods of time on her personal phone, and attempting to have her colleagues change their account of her actions during a Code Blue.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to a three week suspension for the conduct. She will also complete remedial education relation to identified learning needs including professional ethics and will complete a Regulatory Practice Consultation program, develop a robust learning plan, and be supervised in the workplace

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
