Pastulovic, Zoltan, LPN

Consent agreement

Aug 21, 2020

On August 21, 2020, a panel of the Inquiry Committee approved a Consent Agreement between BCCNP and Zoltan Pastulovic to remediate practice issues as a casual home care nurse in 2018 and 2019. He failed to meet standards with regard to adequate patient visitation, assessment, delegation and documentation practices. The Registrant acknowledged that that he struggled with time management and documentation in this practise environment. His charting was incomplete on numerous occasions, or in some cases completed after omissions were later identified, leading to gaps in continuity and effectiveness of care and questions about the amount and nature of care received by patients. He deviated from required process when assessing a community member.

The Registrant has voluntarily agreed to relinquish his registration and not to apply for reinstatement for five years, at which point he would be required to meet the character, competence and fitness requirements of registration.

The Inquiry Committee is satisfied that the terms will protect the public.
