Provisional registration may be granted to eligible applicants who wish to work while meeting their outstanding registration requirements, such as passing the
Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Canada Examination (RPNCE).
Those granted provisional RPN registration are assigned specific conditions that must be met to be eligible for practising RPN registration.
You will be given the option to request provisional registration as part of your
application for registration.
Applicants who have failed the Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Canada exam (RPNCE) two or more times are not eligible for provisional RPN registration until they have passed the exam.
When BCCNP has received evidence that you have completed all the requirements of provisional RPN registration, status will be granted within 10 business days.
