Calling all RPNs: help us validate the revised draft Professional Standards

Oct 9, 2018

Earlier this year, the BC College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) together with psychiatric nursing regulators in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba launched a joint project to revise and update our Professional Standards. The Working Group and the project Steering Committee have now agreed on an updated and unified set of draft Standards of Practice for the four provinces.

We are now calling on all RPNs in British Columbia to help validate theses new draft Standards by completing a confidential online survey.

Progress to date

We've heard from about 10% of RPNs... and we'd really like to see those numbers increase before our Oct. 28 close date! If you started the survey but didn't finish, please consider going back and completing the questions. Just click on the link and you'll be taken back to where you left off.

The information RPNs are providing is incredibly important to help us validate these revised standards, so we hope you can find some time to share your feedback.

How long will the survey take?

The survey should take 15-20 minutes. If you're not able to complete the survey in one sitting, you can save your answers at any point and resume on the same device when it is convenient for you.

What happens to my responses?

Your responses will be anonymous and confidential. CamProf will analyse the responses and provide aggregated results to the regulators. Any quotes will not carry identifying information. All comments will be considered, even if they are not incorporated in the final product. Key issues will be discussed with the Working Group, and then with the project
