Is 2019 your year to participate in multisource feedback?

Nov 8, 2018

Did you know that over 5,000 of your nursing colleagues have successfully participated in and completed the multisource feedback process? This mandatory quality assurance requirement, introduced in 2017, involves RNs and NPs inviting colleagues to provide feedback on their practice via a confidential questionnaire.

Who is chosen?

Each year, 20% of practicing RNs and NPs in the province are assigned to complete multisource feedback. This is a mandatory requirement that every RN and NP will participate in once every five years. This means 2019 might be your year!

When will I know if I've been assigned to 2019?

In early December, BCCNP will be sending emails to everyone who has been assigned to the 2019 multisource feedback group. Please keep an eye on your email for the notices. If you are not assigned to the 2019 group, you may be asked to provide feedback by those colleagues who have been assigned to do multisource feedback in 2019.

How does multisource feedback work?

Multisource feedback is a process, not a single event. Once you’ve received your colleague feedback, you’ll use it, in conjunction with your self-assessment, to develop an Action Plan using BCCNP’s My Professional Plan online application. Creating and evaluating Action Plan is a mandatory part of the multisource feedback process.
