BCCNP is B.C.'s nursing regulatory college

Sept. 4, 2018 — CLPNBC, CRNBC and CRPNBC joined together to become BCCNP. The content on this site reflects the most current information, but you may notice some content refers to one or more of the former nursing colleges. We appreciate your patience while we update our site to reflect our new name.

 Who we are

We're the BC College of Nursing Professionals. Our legal obligation is to protect the public through the regulation of nursing professionals (LPNs, NPs, RNs, and RPNs), setting standards of practice, assessing nursing education
programs in B.C., and addressing complaints about
BCCNP registrants.

 What we do

BCCNP's legal obligation is to protect the public through the regulation of licensed practical nurses (LPN), nurse practitioners (NP), registered nurses (RN) and registered psychiatric nurses (RPN). This includes setting standards
of practice, assessing nursing education programs and
addressing complaints about BCCNP registrants.

 What's new

The nursing profession is always changing and responding to legislation, public needs and advances in health care. Nursing regulation needs to evolve with it. Check out our e-newsletter for the latest news.
