Our board is the college’s governing body. It receives its authority from the Health Professions Act. The board is an oversight body and ensures that the college has the resources, leadership and strategy to meet the duties and objects specified in the Act.
The college functions with two kinds of committees: regulatory and board support.
The annual general meeting provides an opportunity for the board to report on its stewardship and for registrants to submit resolutions and discuss items that are of interest to registrants and relate to the legislated mandate of BCCNP.
In addition to the statutory requirement to publish the college’s year-end financials, the annual report of the board demonstrates the board’s commitment to transparency, accountability and governance best practice.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we're temporarily unable to accommodate observers at board meetings. Please contact
email@example.com if you have any questions.
